Contribuiți la feedbackWent for the Friday happy hour. Paid $11 for a glass of wine. Which is the price we have always paid? Ordered the garlic pizza bread. No cheese and hardly any garlic. It was like eating cardboard. Bar snacks were 2 boiled potatoes. Why brother...... Never going back!!!!
I visited a restaurant for Happy Hour with live music. Unfortunately, there was no table service for drinks, no happy hour prices, and the staff seemed untrained. The experience was disorganized and I was hoping to support the new management. It was a big disappointment that things were not well organized and the restaurant did not make a good impression upon opening.
Went to try the new Mykies which opened again 3 weeks ago. Gorgeous evening and the live music was great. Unfortunately the food was terrible. Garlic pizza bread was like frozen Coles pizza warmed in the oven. Squid very average. Tasted like supermarket frozen stuff Beef ribs drenched in supermarket bbq sauce. Yuk. We left without finishing it. Won't be back. Such a pity as it's such a great venue.
We used to be fans of Mykies, but today will be our last visit to this restaurant. The quality has been lacking in our last three visits, but today was the worst experience yet. We ordered the seafood fettuccini for $29, but it was inedible. The seafood was extremely overcooked and swimming in oil, with only a small amount of pasta drowned in oil and butter. After taking one bite, I had to force myself to swallow it - it was repulsive. My husband also tried it and immediately spat it out. We informed the waitress that the dish was inedible and returned it. However, we were still charged for it when we received the bill. We are incredibly disappointed, as we used to love Mykies and have been loyal customers for the past four years since moving to Kawana Island. Unfortunately, we will not be returning again.
As locals, we have dined at this restaurant several times for breakfast, lunch, and most recently for coffee. Unfortunately, all our experiences have been quite average. During a recent lunch visit, we paid $31.00 for what appeared to be a frozen pizza, definitely not homemade. When we visited for coffee and cake a few days ago, our coffee was overly bitter and not filled to the top. Additionally, the cappuccino lacked the traditional cocoa sprinkled on top. The cake was decent, but lacked cream, butter, mint, or any offer of the same. We were even relegated to a separate coffee-only area. The service has also been subpar, with plenty of room for improvement. After repeated letdowns, we have decided to give up on supporting this local restaurant as it simply does not seem to be getting better. It comes as no surprise that the neighboring establishment has started serving breakfast as well.
