Junk - Buderim

We haven't been to this restaurant since it opened. As locals, it has always been one of our favorite spots. It has been a year since our last visit and we were happy to see improvements such as table service and a shorter menu. However, we were disappointed by the lack of Asian salad options. We ordered the pork belly, which came with a delicious Papaya salad. The zucchini chips were too oily and the popcorn chicken was greasy and hard to eat. Despite these disappointments, the atmosphere was fantastic. Prices have gone up and the serving sizes have increased significantly. Make sure to order carefully as the portions are now quite large. The service was great, but booking ahead is recommended to avoid disappointment. Overall, a mixed experience but with some standout dishes. 5/5.

So much flavour!! Only sampled 5 dishes but all of them were so different to the usual Asian Fusion flavours. The Cauliflower was melt in your mouth, with a pop of very thinly sliced ginger.. The chicken satay sticks were very tender and that beautiful...sauce was generously dolloped on the top.. Massaman curry had the lovely flavour profile you’d expect but then some pineapple bits. Literally a taste sensation!! Service was fantastic as well. Go here for creative food, awesome service and finger licking good food and cocktails.

The majority of the menu items seemed to be mass-produced rather than made from scratch. The prices were high for the quality of the food. The music was excessively loud, making it difficult to have a conversation.

This restaurant is a bit of a hit and a miss foodwise. super friendly staff very accommodating. great cocktails. we enjoyed our lunch experience here.

We ordered a lot of orders and sides and no disappointment. the fried rice was to die, black bao wgood. the staff was super friendly and helpful when it was about proposing dishes and quantities for our group.
