Journey to Bollywood - Buderim

I was very impressed by my experience last night at Bollywood. I have tried Indian food from many places, both good and bad, but this restaurant nailed all the complicated Indian flavors perfectly. Even though I don't consider myself a foodie, I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The waitresses were friendly and attentive. The noise level was low for a weekend night, and I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable price on the bill. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this restaurant.

During our recent visit to the Sunshine Coast, we decided to have dinner at a restaurant close to the Brisbane Road in Mooloolaba. Despite it being a Saturday night, the restaurant was not very crowded, which was surprising considering the quality of the food and the reasonable prices. We ordered the butter chicken, beef korma, and lamb dhansak for our main course, along with a side of bread and 3 local beers. The curries could be ordered as mild, medium, or hot, and we opted for mild. The service was quick and friendly. The decor had a vibrant Bollywood theme with lots of bright colors and glitter. Parking may be a challenge if you are driving, but it's manageable if you stay close by and walk.

We came here to celebrate a special occasion and had a wonderful time. The delicious food and excellent service made it a memorable experience. We only wish we lived closer so we could come back more frequently!

We had a good night. unfortunately the other diners all left at 9 o'clock. we were happy to have finished our byo, so we stayed on 10 o'clock. the staff was okay, but they finally got the vacuum out! it pampered the evening for us (we were ready to go) the Chinese rest. the next door is always closed early due to the lack of paragliding, but the Thai rest. above the rd is always open later because they still have customers. mooloolaba, stay open! Your food is great!

This restaurant serves the best Indian cuisine outside of India, that I have even eaten. They serve very generous amounts at an extremely competitiive price. The decor was traditional Indian and the staff were dressed appropriately. Service was outstanding. If you love Indian food and are visiting Mooloolaba, you have to diner at this restaurant.
