Painters' Restaurant - Brookhaven

Always a good choice to go to Painters…entire family enjoys the experience!

Painters is our go to restaurant. Never had anything bad in the menu and the specials are always inventive and tasty.

Food and service were great WAY too loud couldn’t hear the other couple we were with without shouting there was a wedding and DJ in an adjoining room terrible acoustics. We were disappointed!

This is an interesting place. We went for dinner before a play at the Gateway theater. The place was bustling and had patrons of all ages. We had the French Onion soup and Shishito Pepper appetizers, both of which were very tasty. For dinner, my husband had the Arroz Con Pollo and I had the Marinated Skirt Steak; he had the better dish, though he said it could've had more seasoning. We didn't have any dessert. The service was good, albeit very casual. (I wasn't always sure who were the servers and who were guests. I will say that it was VERY loud!! I would not recommend it for those who really want to have a nice conversation. Then again, it could've been the room we were in, which had a tiled floor, stone walls, and a paneled ceiling. Overall, we did enjoy it and will go back again, though we'll ask to sit in the other room, as that one might be a bit quieter.

Food was excellent, timing was good and server was very attentive.
