The Pondering Frog - Bicheno

Fantastic food and service! The salt and pepper calamari was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. The ice cream sundae was incredible and full of fruit. Highly recommend, as we enjoyed it so much we went back again the next day!

We stopped by on our way back from Bicheno and we're so glad we did. The banana chocolate top was amazing, and the owners of this lovely little place on the side of the road were delightful. We regret not stopping there for lunch as we heard all the food is fantastic. We will definitely be returning next time we visit Swansea.

My wife and I visited this restaurant for the delicious homemade ice cream, which was fantastic. However, we were pleasantly surprised to receive even more than we expected. The staff were superb, providing excellent service and offering plenty of information about the area and Tasmania in general. I would highly recommend this restaurant solely based on the fantastic service, with the added bonus of the delicious homemade ice cream.

You must make a pit stop here! The hamburgers and steak sandwiches are fantastic. The homemade ice cream is delicious. They have the cutest frog figurines for sale. The owner gives great advice on things to see and do in the area. And the owner, well, he is as Australian as they come - a true gentleman, but also very funny.

Stopped here yesterday on the way back to Swansea, oh dear, their ice cream is to die for and their customer service is second to none!!!!
