Auszeit - Berlin

The menu is very long, but most dishes sound rather unimaginative. I originally intended to eat vegetarian pasta, but the only styles available were Napoli and al pesto, so i chose a burger with fried cheese (Halloumi) instead. It was served with just a few pommes frites, a tiny salad, and a little ketchup. The quality was good, but 10 Euro is rather expensive for such a simple meal - only half a kilometer south in Moabit, you can easily find comparable quality for maybe 7 Euro.

Went for dinner with friends, without any reservation: almost could not get a table! The staff is amicable and commited, and will help with what you ask for. I found the food to be tasty, but a bit on the salty side. Overall, I think it was not the best value for money, as I felt like they were trying to be fancy, but the execution fell behind: my pizza was over cooked, my partner's pasta dish was amateurish and uninspired and our friends schnitzel was pretty regular (although it had a good side salad). We had our meal with a weissbier each, and ended up paying just over €50, which I think was a bit steep, given the quality of the food.

Just arrived from the airport and felt overwhelmingly heartful welcome. Fantastic people - thank you! Room for improvement: in the back part of the restaurant, there is a broken speaker, sounds wierd. Anytime again, thanks!

Pretty nice place to eat. Really big portions - beware =) Definetely not a fast food - waitresses are communicative, but service is not very fast.

Slightly secluded this café really is a word-by-mouth location that you wouldn't just pass by when walking around in the district of wedding. Located in walking distance of the U9 it is very easy to reach. Breakfast is excellent with fresh ingredients and none of their other meals have ever disappointed me. Drinks and food are very reasonably priced, the staff is friendly and helpful and it's lovely outside in the summer! If you want to treat yourself to a nice place portraying the "Berliner Szene" without the prenzlauer Berg touristy hype, this is the place to go to!
