Silvaspoon - Barking and Dagenham

This has been closed for about a year , shame as the food was lovely , no idea what it is now , sometime sit is open but the shutters stay closed on the windows

The food here is great, we had chicken tikka masala lamb sag as the main dishes and they were great. Their samosas, bhaji's and tandoori wings were also good. All in all their food is fantastic. We would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

Returned to have a meal this month (Jan 17) after its refurb to find it has no Abdul any more and now has new owners. Food was ok but our normal dishes we are used to having are a lot spicier now still enjoyable but none the less not as was shall i say. The charm and warmth the restaurant had didn't seem to be there for me as it once was but it is nicely decorated so don't let that put you off as i said the food was ok. There is also no alcohol licence at the Moment and I for one like a nice cold beer with my meal.

Me myself and son swear by this lovely little restaurant, we visit often and every time we are never disappointed with the standards. Great value buffet on offer and an extensive menu. Abdul the owner is a lovely bloke and looks after guests very well.

Food was heavily spiced and luke warm. Severe stomach pains after eating there and feeling sick. Onion bhaji dried up. Very poor
