Youngs Chinese - Barking and Dagenham

We were recommended this restaurant by our accommodation in New Romney and we were pleasantly surprised by the incredible food and great value for money. The prices were so cheap and the portion sizes were huge. The lady even went out of her way to bring me a bottle of soy sauce that I had forgotten. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious.

Having been a loyal customer of Yongs for many years, my family and I used to enjoy their delicious Chinese takeaway. However, our recent experience on Christmas Eve was disappointing as most of the food we ordered ended up in the bin. The quality of the food has declined, with the formerly chunky Chinese chips now being just plain old chips that can be found anywhere. Even more concerning was the chicken in the chow mein dish, which had a grey color and foul smell, indicating that it was likely bad or off. Despite giving Yongs another chance recently, we experienced the same issue and have decided to no longer order from them. It is unfortunate that the quality has deteriorated, and I would advise others to avoid this takeaway if they prefer their Chinese food fresh.

I have been going to Yongs for years and years, and as a takeaway option, it is the best Chinese food I have ever had. I highly recommend it.

When we have friends round we use youngs we order a meal for 4 for 6 of us can eat with loads left over for re fried Chinese for breakfast !!! We have had 12 people feed off a meal for 4 before their portions are massive don't under estate that word great value for money

Excellent food. Good delivery times on most occasions. Would not order from anywhere else. Friends travel from miles away to order from here the food is so good.
