Miners Rest Tavern - Ballarat

I was on my way through for work a few times and loved it. General, delicious meals, friendly service and a warm, welcoming and up to the earth's atmosphere. No bull, no accusations, just a good old country pub. Well worth a visit, even if you're in Ballarat, you won't regret it!

They are always really friendly and there are meals really nice and intense. Children get a lower glass with soft drink and a free ice cream if available. A

Staff are brilliant and the landlord is an excellent bloke

The meals were great. They took a while, but the staff were swamped with unexpected patrons. We had wait staff check on us and keep us informed as to how long our meals would be. Quirky, country pub feel about the place that is clearly loved by locals.

Fantastic restaurant with delicious meals and incredibly friendly owners. Highly recommend!
