The Taco Stand - Athens

This is the saving gnade to go uga for a long animal visit. it's not oaxaca cuisine, so if that's what they want, it's not. but the grundtacos are excellent, and the chips and salsa are “salsa roja”, aka ‘Mexical table sauce’, and it was on place.

Prices were decent and their cheese dip is awesome. Would definitely have the crispy chicken taco again! Mega burrito could have been larger for being called mega lol!

2nd try for this place. I've been dying to try their tacos. So the 1st time I had a crunchy beef taco. I was disappointed because it was so bland. This time I had their chicken taco salad. This too was bland. But the folks here are very nice and service is great. But I'd rather go to taco bell. Sorry just not tasty.

Walked in and the lady behind the counter started screaming about us not wearing a mask. Not a single other person in the restaurant was wearing a mask including her! I asked if we could just order from the door, a good 15 feet from the counter. She said no I could call her from my car. So we just left. Got in the car and looked into the restaurant and saw her walk over to a table and stand within 1 foot of the clients and start talking and pointing at us. NONE OF THEM WERE IN A MASK. We went to Milledge Ave Taco Stand and were treated WONDERFULLY!!!

It seems like absolutely no one here cares at all about providing any degree of service. I have tried multiple times to eat here and it’s almost like they don’t want to sell any food. The downtown location was never like this before it closed. Extremely poor service. Very bad attitudes.
