Filly's Lounge - Apache Junction

We went to Filly’s because my mother-in-law loves their chicken. They definitely have good fried chicken. I had the chicken finger basket 8.95. My wife had the chicken Caesar Salad. 8.95. My mother-in-law had fried chicken livers with fried sweet potatoes. Fast and courteous service. Dancing to live music in the evenings. Old West ambiance. Hitching rails out back in case you choose to ride in. Outside tables and dance floor.

The music was great. The food was good. Short staff in all areas. We bring visiting friends and family. A little disappointed. Very short staff. Stood in line to get drinks almost 40 min. Wind gusts caused the staff to take umbrellas. A bit too sunny to stay after. Not as much experience as we usually had. I told our guests that we would try again....it could be better next time.

Good food, entertainment and staff. Cordial people come all the time. Fillys has many loyal people/sponsors. For some it can be a long ride, but it is worth the time.

I always loved this place, usually the best food around, especially the chicken. If I can give advice, don't let these snowbirds whistle and complain how long it takes to cook the food. Do it from scratch as usual. I've seen more restaurants ruined because a few whiny from the city dwellers

For 10 years LIEBE IT! Great atmosphere, good clientele, good food (best wings in town). The terrace is more fun than you can imagine.
