Contribuiți la feedbackWe arrived in Altamura just as the afternoon closures began and sure enough when we searched for food all we could find was gelato. Google insisted the Panificio was open all day but the doors were resolutely locked when we went. On our way to Gelato lunch we decided to give the bakery one more chance and it had reopened! We immediately ordered three kinds of foccacia (traditional, with ham and mozzarella and with potato and mozzarella) and various biscuits made with nuts. Notwithstanding the time it took to reheat the foccacie, it was an amazing lunch. Altamura is famous for its bread and this panificio is an excellent place to try some. Don't hesitate to try the almond and hazelnut biscuits too.
During this short trip in Altamura, I have discovered that this town is very famous for its bread. I have tried this bakery (advised us by Italian friends) and it was very good. The bread is very delicious, there are a lot of strange but very good products ...really satisfied
Cordialità e disponibilità al servizio del cliente e ottima qualità prezzo
Best focaccia I tried in puglia, and I tried many different: perfect crispy of semola and not too fat
Assolutamente fantastico. Degotazione di stracciatella, friabilissi taralli, panzerotto, schiacciato con pomodori, bruschetta. La signora molto gentile.
