Old 97 has the best patio in Akron. Live music is great, the service is fantastic, and the management and team members are so friendly. Get here now.

Decent spot, parking is a plus here as you just park on the street. Very nice outdoor patio and they are dog friendly which is cool.

This place has a very nice patio. They have live entertainment throughout the week. No draft beer but a good selection of bottled beer. They also have many cocktail options. I ordered the chips and dip as an appetizer. They serve Lawson's chip dip, an Akron favorite for years. For dinner, I had the salmon tacos. They are served with a black bean salad. My preference is a more chunky fish taco versus the finer chopped version that was served.The tacos were ok, but they needed a bit more cilantro and maybe a bit more lime. They were served in a soft taco shell that was fire grilled. The black bean salad needed some salt as it tasted a bit plain. Still, it was a good meal and came out of the kitchen promptly. Our server was great. She checked on us frequently and was efficient and friendly. They did have a band scheduled for the night, but I left as they were setting up, so I can not comment on the entertainment.

Photographer here from a recent wedding, I photographed a wedding here last weekend and It was one of the most unique experiences I have had with a venue and I love when the couples that I work with seek a more non traditional route to have a wedding. Food was great, vendors were amazing and attentive, its always a plus when venue owners care about other vendors and always ask if I need anything, I love the historic atmosphere and being able to take portraits in the speakeasy was amazing. 10/10 would recommend having a small, non-traditional wedding here.
