Contribuiți la feedbackReserved a few weeks ago intent to eat the degustation menu. Turns out from July to sept, their concept changed to a summer concept. Too bad this wasn't brought up in the booking. The summer menu of 50 euros, 4 scampi's, cote a l'os, if dessert two bolliques of ice was submerged and paid too much. Assailant.
The occasion was a grief table, but we were very well received. Was all taken care of to the dots.
The staff was welcoming, the food was delicious and arrived promptly. There were plenty of options to choose from. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we had to dine outside on the terrace which was a bit chilly, but thankfully it didn't rain. We wished there was something to keep us warm. We will visit again in the future, hopefully under better circumstances.
If a restaurant charges $75 for a ribeye steak and then completely overcooks it beyond the requested medium-rare, they should reconsider their prices. There are much better options in the area in this price range, such as The Sortex or The Mechelse Cookie, which are just a few miles away.
Very disappointed about the degustation menu of July, four scampis to ask for a bit of bread, cote à l'os, not the requested bake and no choice of sauce, lady blanchees and no imagination. 50 euros pp. (excil booze) is too much for this menu. And then we're not talking about a glass of wine by the service on one of the guests' clothing... When we reserved, there was another interesting menu offered, and now it's suddenly expensive tapasbar? Unfortunately, not again.
