La Calèche - Zermatt

I'm really disappointed with this meal. The food is fine, but the service is actually the worst I have ever experienced in Zermatt. First we make the reservation at 6:30, but the restaurant is closed at this time because the waiters are not ready. And we have to wait in front of the restaurant until they're ready. Secondly, if we hang our clothes on the front door, because we need a little longer, one of the waiters in Italian will escape us. He can really feel that we don't understand Italian, but one of us unfortunately speaks Italian. The restaurant is very loud, the waiters speak loudly with each other in Italian around us. The waiting period is particularly long, it takes two hours to wait until we get our main course. We have tried to ask the waiter several times and ask him to speed up the process as we wait too long, but they are really impatient. Finally, we ask for the bill without our dessert, as we waited 30 minutes for the dessert.

Wonderful restaurant. Very good food, good service. Very recommended.
