Restaurang Le Cardinal Pizzeria Pub

We returned this year despite having to wait a long time for our food last time and not being so satisfied. Now we have eaten at Le Cardinal twice.

Good food, great prices! However, the wine ordered by the glass is not of good quality.

The experience at the restaurant was mediocre. I ordered a West Coast salad for 95-99 SEK. It arrived after 10-15 minutes. The main dish was a dry piece of cod that seemed to come straight from the cheapest grocery store. Beside it was a pile of mussels that also looked dull and unappetizing. The shrimp were okay, but nothing special. The sauce was served in a worn metal container. The presentation of the food was bland and uninspiring. The service was subpar and unhelpful. The atmosphere was ruined by a loud and obnoxious individual who may have been the owner. The prices were not worth it, as you can get a similar salad for half the price at a local supermarket with fresher ingredients. With so many other options in town, I would not recommend returning to this restaurant.

The salmon and pork loin platter is super tasty, well seasoned and served on a delicious bed of vegetables.

It would be nice if it was shiny and good when it is on the plate with the food. The service staff were friendly and helpful, except when one employee, or perhaps the owner, loudly scolded the staff. When you can make your own salad (salad bar) for half the price at the nearest well-stocked grocery store where the ingredients are also twice as fresh, it is definitely not worth it. With the options in town, I would recommend trying another restaurant.
