Grändens Mat - Ystad

We spent 1.20 hrs there, we waited 40~50 min for the food which never arrived. One waiter (very kindly) told us that the kitchen staff forgot about our food and that they were preparing something else. He suggested if we wanted to take away our food which we didn’t as we had to travel. We only missed the train, lost the opportunity to go somewhere else and we had to stay hungry for hours. Definitely not planning to go back :

We had a good time eating our dinner here. We did make a reservation, which I do recommend you also do if you want to eat here. Food was nice, also the staff was very friendly.

Found this place when walking through the shops, apparently it is very popular and I got lucky to get a table immediately. The restaurant is in the center yard of a building, it is very comfortable and beautiful, perfect for a sunny day. The food is amazing! You can get bowls but also some traditional food like the swedish meatballs. Also, good beer selections, good coffee, good deserts and very kind and helpful staff. Definitely a restaurant to try when in Ystad.

Best food in town! Fresh and creative with good vegan and vegetarian options. And they bake their own very good bread. Can't beat the historical environment with a beautiful cobblestone courtyard for outdoor seating weather permitting.
