Handel's Home Made Ice Cream

Have absolutely loved getting ice cream from here. So much so that I waited in the rainy cold last night (3/19/2022) to get 3 quarts of icecream. 2 chocoholic chunk and 1 chocolate chip cookie dough. The employees were so sweet. They always are. Well I scooped some chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream into a bowl for my kids and swear to God there were not 1, not even 2, but 3 long hairs. I mean come on. How in the world does something like that even happen?? I hate leaving a bad review and I wouldn't have if it was just one hair....I get accidents can happen but 3???

I go to Handel's at least every 4 days. I buy quarts of praline pecan. I'm disappointed that most of the time, I get vanilla ice cream with just pecans. None of the butterscotch stuff in them. Very disappointing. I might just stop coming there and going back to Katie's Korner.

Fast service and delicious ice cream. A small dish/cone is just over $3 and the perfect portion size for me.

I was a little hesitant to order the hurricane, but golly! Karter just made me the most rockin? oreo hurricane I have ever experienced. The employees were very hard working and awesome! Overall a very delicious, yummy in my tum, time! Poland Handels against the world!

The ice cream is absolutely delicious but the hours should be a little longer, two day striaght I didn't think about order it until it was around ten o'clock, which is when they closed. ????
