Century Palace Chinese Restaurant

I visited this restaurant with my family for a Saturday brunch of dim sum. After a short 10-minute wait, we were seated at a table for five. This is one of the few Chinese restaurants that still offers dim sum served on carts by servers. It helps to understand Cantonese when placing orders, as there are no menus. We tried a variety of dishes including shrimp dumplings, pork dumplings, marinated steamed chicken feet, egg tarts, deep fried tofu/eggplant, steamed beef balls, beef ribs, and cotton chicken. The quality and quantity of the food were good, with a high level of consistency. One thing to note is that the men's and women's restrooms are adjacent with the doors open, so be careful when entering to avoid any embarrassing mishaps. I accidentally went into the women's restroom for the second time!

Could be because we arrived at 1:00 when things are winding down for lunch.Not the usual selection..probably because most of the dim sum was gone and too late to start new batches.Service was just OK.This is a large & popular place so go early.Parking can also be difficult so park above ground, behind the plaza or neat store.

Came here several times for brunch. Good selection of dimsum. Love the siumai, hargow/prawn dumplings, xin juk guen, consistently filled with generous ingredients. One price $2.88 for all S, M and L size dishes before 11 30 am for weekends. Very spacious, can accommodate big groups. Lots of parkings too, outside and multi-storey car parks. Cash only. Only complaint is need to wait awhile for the push carts.

We celebrated my sisters birthday at Century. We enjoyed the two course Peking duck course, shrimps, scallops with veggies, woon Choy. An enjoyable meal finished with sweet bean soup for dessert. Service is good too. Dinner for four of us came up to $85+Reasonable priced.

I have been to this place a few times. This last visit on April 8 was the worst. The food quality and service were going downhill. The tea pot and tea cup were dirty and with tea stain, look very disgusting, tea was not even hot. The waitress was rude and snobbish, I wondered what the manager was awarded of it. I'll never come to this place.
