Tropical Smoothie Cafe - York

So it says you open at 7am but when I got there at 7:30 it was closed. A week or two later I got there at 8:15 and it still was closed. So what time do you actually open cause if it has changed PUT A SIGN UP CHANGE IT ON THE WEBSITE!! It’s been like this for at least 2 months! FIX IT!

Recently I stopped by and had their newer White Cheddar Chicken Flat Bread. It has grilled chicken, melted white cheddar, banana peppers, spinach, tomatoes chipotle mayo on a toasted flatbread. It comes with a side. I tried as a side for the first time their Jalapeno Corn. It wasn't too hot, just a little spicy. Both were very enjoyable. For my drink (which comes in one size only) I had the Chia Banana Boost with my choice of either peanut butter or strawberries. I chose peanut butter. It was delicious. The service here is always helpful and efficient. When you get both a drink and something to eat at the same time, there is a discount involved. I'll be back soon!

Huge shout out to Theresa from Tropical Smoothie at Loucks Road. She went above and beyond when we showed up right after closing. She made smoothies for my son and daughter in law who just had a baby! It was so sweet of her, and they appreciated it so much when we brought the smoothies to the hospital.

Food was really good. Much better than I expected and reasonable price. Would like to see more smoothie choices. Pretty much all some type of berry and banana blends.

I had to wait 3 min for the girls behind the counter to finish their conversation about some guy one of them was involved with. Then while checking out she took a personal call on her cell phone. Then they gave me half my order forgetting about the he other half. It got 2 stars instead of 1 because the food was as expected in the end.
