Saikoushinkan - Yokohama

I am very oftentimes Yokohama and have investigated Chinatown for good Chinese restaurant. There are many, but saikoShinKan has teaming concept with excellent food that fits my expectations better than any other Chinese restaurant I know. Very recommendable.

If you are from Singapore you can get much better dim sum and at much better prices. I Would say this resturant is expensive. The dim sum taste ok but it’s not the fine workmanship we expected . Very unrefined . The Chee Cheong Fun skin is very thick. The char siew pao is chunky inside. The duck . One quarter is abt $24 and I had much better as parts were tough. Best would be the radish cake. Glutinous rice with egg yolk cream and the pan fried leek dumplings is not bad. Would not be back again. Max I Would rate is a 3.8.

One of very popular Cantonese restaurants in Yokohama Chinatown. Every plate tastes good and the service is very friendly. You can take away chilled dim sum and I love the pork buns.

My third time. I loved the dim-sun that photo I attached, with nice harmony of lemon grass and wanton. The rest, they tasted just normal and all costed more than ¥2,000 person for lunch without alcohol. Bit overpriced.
