Costa Coffee - Yate

Nice caffe with friendly staff and quiet atmosphere. the provided items are standard under all coata coffee cans, but at least if they know that they like certain items, they will be the same everywhere they are. there is another costa not far from this, at most 2 minutes to foot, but I find that my preferred place.

I often visit the Porto Lounge in Fishponds, which is a place of absolute joy. However, Yates Costa serves as a reasonable alternative. The coffee is consistent, and certainly good enough for everyone who stops by. The clientele is quite diverse, which adds to the atmosphere. The staff are notably more efficient than what you'd typically expect from a chain establishment, and they genuinely seem to enjoy their work, even during busy times—which must be quite lucrative for them. While I can't give it the highest rating as it feels somewhat like a clone of other places, I would say it ranks third amongst similar establishments I've experienced. I can only comment on Yates Costa, as I haven't sought out other locations from the same chain.

I was served by Toby, who was working solo during a busy afternoon. I arrived at 5 PM, and it was evident that he must have been quite tired, having been on his own since lunch. However, that didn't affect his friendly demeanor and excellent customer service. What a true gentleman!

I had a great experience with the service. I was attended to by a new employee who is still in training. I can't recall his name, but he did an outstanding job!
