Contribuiți la feedbackI've only had takeaways from here but the food was excellent. The normal sort of dishes are available but the food is well cooked and flavoured. Certainly worth a visit if you fancy a curry or some other Indian dish.
The service was poor considering there were only 9 guests at the restaurant including us. The strawberries on 2 of the mocktails were rotten so had to be sent back. The atmosphere was dry and they had no music playing in the background until 20 minutes before we left. The food was standard nothing to sing home about. I don't think I would go again.
Was here on sat night very nice had the banquet for two also byo, had a plate each of small entrees and poppadoms first they are free to all, i had a chicken madras and my mrs had a chicken ticka masala decent portions good nan bread nice rice, asked for a little more spice in my madras and this was done with no fuss, had a nice mango lasse with my meal, finished of with a small sweet which was just right, $35 a head will be back ,
Now known as Royal Taj, the smells are sensational, staff are lovely and the food is beautiful authentic Indian, the restaurant is small but that is ok and it makes the place more cozy.we have been many times and never have we had anything but A food, the pricing is reasonable.Chilliz (sic) in Woodvale is good as well but % rivers or the Royal Taj as it is now known is superior.
This food is so good, I could eat it every day for the rest of my life. It's a bold statement, but true.
