Saigon Brothers - Woodland Hills

This review is solely based on the dish I ordered. My friend picked it up for me, so I can't comment on the customer service or ambiance. I ordered the filet mignon pho, which was really good, but the broth was excessively sweet. I couldn't finish it. The meat was incredibly tender, but the broth didn't sit well with me, and I ultimately couldn't finish my bowl.

HOLY MOLEY!!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD! The Seafood Pho has the lightest but most flavorful broth I have ever tasted here in the San Fernando Valley. The Banh Mi (chicken and Shrimp) are delicious! Egg rolls, lots of filling and fried just right, not super oily). To me, the prices are very fair. The amount of food given is good as well. I may have wanted more only because it was so good!! This place reads our messages perfectly too! all the food was made as we asked. WE WILL BE BACK!!

We love this new place . We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and clean interior, nice atmosphere.

Reducing rating ordered pho which we have enjoyed in the past but this time there was little meat and most of that was tendon which I took out. Even though the server saw a pile of tendons in front of me there was no concern as to why almost all the meat was left. When it came time to pay I mentioned it but no one cared. Sure, anyone can have a bad day, but combined with indifference, I am sure some other place will be happy to sell me dinner.

I was pleasantly surprised by Saigon Brothers! We dropped in as we just happened to be in the area around lunch time. We ordered the pork banh mi and a regular pho, both of which tasted phenomenal. The service was really quick and they were also very attentive to our table (someone came by to refill our drinks at least 3x without us asking). My one callout about Saigon Brothers is that the items are priced a bit higher than what I'm used to paying for Vietnamese food. It might just be a premium you pay for having solid Vietnamese food so accessible in the Valley. Other than that, it's a great restaurant and I'd recommend others to give it a shot!
