Novelty Hill Januik Winery

We requested to be seated indoors, but the waiter informed us that there were no available tables inside. He claimed there were no other shaded tables outside, despite us clearly seeing several empty tables in the same section. With no other option, we asked to cancel our reservation. The waiter aggressively snatched up the menus, confirmed the cancellation, and left us in a rude manner. Later, one of our group members, feeling dehydrated, went inside to fetch some water and noticed two empty tables inside — contrary to what the waiter had said. We also appreciated the kind gesture of a waitress who offered us a complimentary cold soda. However, as we reflected on our visit, we couldn't shake the feeling that our different accent and skin color may have contributed to the unwelcoming atmosphere we experienced.

NHJ not only offers delightful wine and food, but they also created the perfect atmosphere for my wedding! The stunning venue served as an excellent backdrop for our special day, complete with modern architecture, lush green trees, and an enchanting lower garden. The high-quality service from their staff made the experience even better! From the day I booked the venue to the wedding day itself, the NHJ team was incredibly helpful and communicative, making the entire planning process a breeze for me. Our family and friends can't stop praising the venue and the food! THANK YOU, NHJ!!!

My recent visit to "Wine Down Wednesday" was a delight! It’s a fantastic spot for friends to come together and enjoy some wine, delicious pizza, and engaging conversation, all while live music plays in the background. The staff is attentive and truly dedicated to providing a great experience. As a long-time club member, I can confidently say that this is one of my favorite clubs among the various WA wineries I've joined.

My partner and neighbor came with 3 kids and we all had a great time. The kids had fun dancing to the music. The small bites were delicious. We plan on going back in August.

Always a lovely visit to Novelty Hill-Januik! Everything from the wine (obviously) and food to the service and environment is exceptional. I keep missing the potato chip pairing, but am looking forward to it at some point! It's probably best to make a reservation, but you can always call and see what their availability is. If you're visiting the Seattle area, a visit to the winery is worth the short drive.
