Lodge Wood Fire Grill - WISCONSIN DELLS

We were seated within 5 minutes, but it felt like no one was around to assist us. I regretted not choosing a different restaurant. The food was overly expensive and did not meet our expectations; my family hardly touched their meals. I can't recommend this place. On a positive note, our waiter was very pleasant. Food rating: 1/5.

This may have been the worst restaurant experience I've ever encountered. There were ten of us, and the first five received their meals a full 30 minutes before the last five got theirs. Unfortunately, none of the steaks were cooked correctly. Additionally, the Alfredo came with shrimp that still had their tails on. Overall, the food was just mediocre, barely better than edible. The only positive was the waitress, who was genuinely nice; that was really the only redeeming aspect of the entire experience.

My child and I visited a restaurant around 8 or 8:30 in the evening, just before the kitchen was set to close. They kindly warned us about the closing time, so we ordered some nachos, which turned out to be absolutely delicious. I enjoyed a fun cocktail while my child had a non-alcoholic version. We had a wonderful time—the staff was incredibly friendly, and the manager was outstanding, clearly supportive of his team. It's the kind of place you want to return to when you see a manager actively helping out and caring for his employees. I tried two seasonal cocktails, but I realized that I’m not a fan of bourbon; it was a bit too strong for my taste. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend it!

Not sure what was worse the food or the service. Easily one of our families worst dining experiences. After dropping $260on food that was hardly edible we went back to our suite and ordered a pizza from a local pizza place. Super disappointed!Food: 1/5

Tried for 3 weeks to make reservations for Thanksgiving dinner. Was first told had to make them via Yelp but after that didn't work I reached back out to Great wolf lodge and was told if I couldn't make them through Yelp it meant that they don't take reservations. So just to be sure I tried everything, I called every day to try and get connected to the restaurant just to have the call disconnect every single time. I emailed, sent messages and called on several occasions with zero luck. When we finally checked into the hotel I asked at check in if I could make reservations she said yes just walk over there to make them. We walked over and no one was in site and the gates where down. So around 4:00 we went back and spoke to the hostess to ask if we could make reservations for later and she said no they where completely full. I don't know what else I could have done to attempt to get a reservation.
