Applebee's - WISCONSIN DELLS

Delicious dinner! We had an 8 oz steak, fish, and an artichoke appetizer, all cooked quickly and expertly, even though we overheard someone didn't show up for their shift in the kitchen. The smoothie we ordered was the best we've ever had! The staff, while inexperienced, put in a lot of effort. Our server, Hugo, was especially polite and attentive, and he managed to get my specific order exactly right. Thank you for a relaxing meal! However, the booth we sat in needed repairs or replacement, as it looked quite worn. It must be tough for the staff to stay motivated when the management or owner isn’t making an effort to fix things and provide better training.

Despite being extremely busy and understaffed during our visit, our server Hugo did an excellent job. Our food arrived fresh and as quickly as possible. Even with a full load of customers and tables to serve throughout the restaurant, Hugo made it a point to check on us frequently and ensure we had everything we needed. He assured us, "I have a lot of tables, but that doesn't mean I won't take good care of you." And he truly delivered, always with a smile.

The food was quite good; I tried one of the new Valentine's Day drinks, and it was delicious. However, the restaurant was very quiet, yet we still had trouble locating our server. We received boxes for our leftovers but ended up waiting over 20 minutes for our check. We had to get up and walk around to find our server, who was engaged in conversation in the server area. It seemed she had forgotten about us, even though we were her only table.

I was at this bar with my bf. It was an amazing experience , the lady was so kind with exceptional CS! The food was delicious and the drinks were awesome… I was scared because of the bad reviews but was really surprised to have such a great time over there. Definitely recommend!
