The website for NOSH emphasizes their use of local ingredients, but their menu does not provide much information on sourcing; only a few items mention that they are sourced locally, without crediting the supplier. For a clearer focus on locally grown food, try dining at Heirloom Seasonal Bistro instead. However, despite the questionable sources, NOSH's food and cocktails were enjoyable. I tried the short rib special with red sauce and gnocchi, which was delicious. The pot de creme dessert was also fantastic. The atmosphere and prices at NOSH are on a higher level compared to other restaurants in the area, if that is important to you.

The food at this restaurant is delicious, thanks to the chef! They offered a special gumbo that was everything you could ask for and more. It had tender octopus on top that melted in your mouth, instead of being chewy. The bread and herbed butter were also excellent. We have never been let down when we come here. The service is great for dining in.

If you find yourself in Winona, this is the place to dine. The food is amazing, the bartenders are exceptional, and they offer a wide variety of bourbon selections. I can't wait to return to this restaurant. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
