Black Horse Grill - Winona

The soup and salad bar was disappointing. The wild rice soup was overly thick and lacking in wild rice. The ketchup bottle provided was messy and covered in ketchup. The ravioli with sauce was below average.

While passing through Winona, we were in search of a place to eat and found the Black Horse Bar Grill with over 4 stars and positive reviews. We hesitated at first, as it was Sunday afternoon, but decided to give it a try. I ordered the party melt and my companion had the club sandwich. The food was delicious and we highly recommend trying it out. We plan to come back and share a dish next time.

The restaurant offers a wide range of menu choices with delicious food served in generous portions. The atmosphere is casual, not overly fancy, but comfortable with outstanding service, especially for larger groups.

Best food in Minnesota. Everyone is really friendly and very personable. I travel a lot for work and this is the best place I have found for dinner and a beer, hands down....

Steak was so good I didn't even mind the country music
