Over last few years at least I have visited 30+ times here. Take away everytime. Very much pocket friendly. Staffs are okay. Slight difficulty in communication; but food quality suppresses that. Top Picks for snacks/Dinner: Chicken Wings with Garlic Sauce Chicken Fried Rice Singapoori Rice Noodles Chicken with Brocolli Lunch combos are good too.
The meal was decent, but there's definitely room for improvement. The spring rolls could be thinner and crispier, and the soy sauce was a bit too salty—perhaps trying a different brand could help. The General Tso's chicken was excessively sweet, which might not cater well to all tastes; a hint of spiciness and reducing the sauce’s liquid content would enhance it. Blanching the broccoli before adding the sauce might improve its texture as well. Lastly, considering using a higher quality jasmine rice would elevate the dish. Overall, I think a small price increase, maybe by a dollar, would be justified.
I ordered takeout from here on a Sunday night, choosing the Pupu plate and a quarter of hot and sour soup. My food was ready in just 15 minutes and was nice and hot when I picked it up. The items on the Pupu plate were delicious, especially the ribs, which were well-cooked and flavorful. The soup was also tasty; I just wish it had a bit more spice. Overall, this is a quality Chinese takeout spot that delivers exactly what you'd hope for.
The food at this restaurant was excellent, with fresh ingredients and generous portion sizes at affordable prices. However, if cleanliness is a top priority for you, you might be disappointed. The place has a bit of an aged and worn look, which detracts from the overall experience. Despite this, the staff was friendly and welcoming. If the restaurant were a bit cleaner, it would definitely deserve a 5-star rating.
