Bistro Brie Bordeaux - Windham

Tried to eat here tonight and the place was almost empty when we came in. We were told our party was too big. There was only 9 of us. Staff was rude and said “that’s too many people”. Guess our money isn’t as green as the potential customers who could dine there today.

What an awesome place! Great food, friendly staff and such a comfortable atmosphere even though it was so busy.

Food is great overall but some things we won't order again due to personal preference. The ???? was very well made, crispy crunchy outside and soft inside, it goes great with the escargot. Crab cakes were wonderful but pate is not something we willorder again. The pate isn't bad but wasn't something we enjoyed. Main dishes were the scallops, which were great but there wasone that tasted rancid, and the gnocchi, which was pretty good but a bit too soft. If I were to do it again, I would try therisotto, any of them.

The food looked so good I forgot to take a picture. Next time, because there will definitely be a next time. The escargot was delicious. I don't know how they catch them in the mountains! My dining companion had the onion soup, and it was superb. Go for the rack of lamb, seriously. It's the best I've ever eaten.
