The Black Pearl Takeaway - Winchelsea

After a day of wine tasting in the area, we decided to stop in at Black Pearl for a meal. We were all very pleased with our food choices. I opted for the oven burger wrapped in a tortilla, which was served with a delicious Kusundi sauce. The staff were exceptionally friendly and provided great service. Overall, a great experience at Black Pearl!

We have visited this restaurant on two consecutive Fridays around 6:30 and both times it was busy with locals and highway drivers stopping for a meal. This is a positive sign. The service is friendly and efficient, although there is not much time for small talk. We tried the fish burger, cheese burger (which was excellent), Cajun burger (really tasty), and a hamburger with everything on it (this was average in terms of flavor). The prices are reasonable and there is a wide variety of food to choose from. Finding a table to sit at may be a challenge as they are all being used by customers waiting for their takeout orders. Overall, it is definitely worth a visit.

Recommended coffee stop. If you need a good cup of coffee, I recommend black pearl. Can also recommend the burger very tasty. Also ordered a lebanese style lamb pizza the lamb filling was a bit weird left most of it behind. Two out of three is not bad.
