The Rose Crown - Wiltshire

The village pub has a warm and cozy atmosphere with a local feel, and features a well-maintained real fire. A pint of lime and soda costs 2.00 GBP. The pub is dog friendly, but dogs are only allowed water outside, so my dog had a melting ice cube instead. I can only give it a 3 pawsup review for this reason. The ladies toilet was clean but could use a good spring cleaning, as there were a lot of cobwebs that didn't look like they were leftover from Halloween. The Christmas decoration draped over the old cobweb showed a lack of attention to detail by the pub staff. I hope they take note and clean it before serving any Christmas dinners. The cheesy chips, handcut or French fries, marinated olives, and sourdough warm bread are all reasonably priced at 3.50 GBP each.

We had a wonderful Christmas dinner at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Thank you for an amazing evening. Food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect rating of 5!
