Connie's Chicken And Waffles

The red velvet waffle and two chicken strips were amazing! The waffle was incredibly fluffy and light, and the syrup was thick but not too sweet. It soaked up the syrup perfectly. My boyfriend got the regular waffle which was just as good. The chicken strips were large and perfectly seasoned, not overly breaded. The hot sauce and BBQ sauce were also a hit. We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant again, it is a must-try!

We ordered the red velvet waffle and the blueberry waffle, both of which were delicious. The peach tea is also amazing.

Food was good, I got to try the Oreo waffle and chocolate chip and it was light and delicious.

I was visiting Wilmington to help my cousin move out of school and decided to look up nearby food options. That's when I came across Connie's. I don't often find good chicken and waffles, so I was intrigued and decided to give it a try. When we arrived, the staff was very friendly and provided us with a thorough explanation of the menu. The food turned out to be delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area who is in search of great chicken and waffles, or even just chicken or waffles.

Terrible service!! I simply asked the older lady cooking the food, how long the food would take since I was on my lunch break and wanted to make sure that I would be out of the restaurant in enough time to get back. She gave me a time frame which was reasonable however shortly after, I overheard her telling coworkers that she shouldn't cook my food all the way. This is so unprofessional and malicious. I will never return to this establishment again!!
