The Riverview And Grill - Williamsburg

I 've been there twice now both times the same server and she was fantastic. The food was underwhelming. The pizza was over cooked,black on bottom with a crust so hard cutting it required strength I don 't possess. The mushrooms on the pizza are canned and the sauce tasted like it came from a can as well. The fish and chips, fish was bland, tarter sauce bad but the fries were very tasty as were the ribbon fries. Trip #2: nachos, wings, potato skins ribbon fries. Nachos were stale and lacking in cheese, honestly I think they were microwaved then had a salad thrown on top. Not sure how you can screw up nachos but they managed it. The wings were grossly undercooked, the barbecue wings were deep fried wings with BBQ sauce poured over as an afterthought, the loaded potato skins were anything but loaded and so greasy I could barely eat. Again, ribbon fries were fantastic as was service.
