Oyster - Wilkes-Barre

I’ve been to many of restaurants in my life but this restaurant won my heart by a landslide. Greeted by the lovely Rachel who warmed us up. Michael our host was OUTSTANDING!!!! DO YOU HEAR ME???? When I say Michael went above and beyond his job and really made me and my husband feel like family. I love it!!!! Peter the chef was fabulous very accommodating and the dishes were AMAZING!!! Everyone were super friendly. The restaurant was very classy yet comfortable. Definitely will be returning. The services were phenomenal, the food was magnificent

Making reservations is easy and you generally need to do this. Take out is available but I would suggest that this is really a place you want to enjoy personally and for very good reason. It is not just for the great food, which it definitely is, outstanding in fact in comparison to the area's other offerings. This restaurant offers something entirely different in the way of service it provides; ambiance, privacy and above all the feeling that you the customer are their focus. Staff are very focused on making your dining experience special. Michael is a consummate professional and my wife and I cannot thank him enough for his care. This was a special night for our anniversary and Oyster made it perfect. By the way, we have heard this can be a pricey sitting but trust me, it is not. The pricing is right up front, the staff will ask about any additions and tell you what the price will be. For us, the bill was far below our expectation for the experience, you get a lot of bang for your buck.

Very warm, welcoming staff. Michael is a wonderful waitperson funny, attentive, pleasant. Food was excellent and plentiful. Some creativity in dishes such as wasabi encrusted filet mignon. Tuna roll also delicious. This is a long meal so be prepared to enjoy conversation with your dining mates. We had appetizers and main course no dessert we were there for about 2 hours. Interesting setting. Definitely idly recommend.

5 stars for the chefs do a great job. 2 stars for Leslie. Leslie does a good job.. Michael gets no stars from me, his attitude is inconsistent.
