Abe's - Wilkes-Barre

There was a time when I had no complaints about the neighborhood. While time may have changed some things, it hasn't affected the quality of the food. Both breakfast and lunch were enjoyable, and the staff is experienced and knows what customers expect. The meals are served hot off the grill. There's nothing elaborate about it; sometimes you just want good food, and that's exactly what you get here.

My grandparents used to live in Wilkes Barre, PA, and this was a restaurant we always had to visit at least once during our trips. Whenever I crave a chili dog, this is the place that comes to mind. I'm not a big fan of the recent renovations because I really loved the old menu signs that used to hang behind the counter and in front of the kitchen. Although it's been a few years since my last visit to see my aunts and uncles, we still make a point to stop by.

Absolutely love the hot dogs with chili!! If you never been here you must go!!! Chili sauce is a staple around here and everyone knows Abes
