Throsby Street Providore - WICKHAM

Decided to call in for a coffee and cake today. Coffee warm not hot waited and waited for cakes ordered. Had to prompt counter that we had not received cakes. Coffee drunk went kitchen area and asked for it to take away. Wont returning as there are plenty of coffee shops to choose from.

We had coffee here and we're pleased to find some different cakes available. Whilst there was nothing else that interested us that day we will return because it has the potential to be a place to find interesting cheeses, meats, meals & breads.

The coffee is amazing, the breads are amazing, and the selection of meals is wonderful, not to mention the delightful little extras for your own recipes. A visit to this restaurant in Newcastle is a must-do.

I visited the Providore today for the third time with 5 friends. The meals were very enjoyable and affordable and it was great to see that coffee is now served in cups and not takeaway containers. Well done!

The Providore is comprised of several areas within the one store. As the name suggests it provides fresh food from an extensive deli, bakery, pizza bar and cafe. It also offers tapas and pizza on some nights of the week. Our lunch was delicious, service was fast and with a friendly smile and most importantly the coffee was good! Prices were very reasonable in comparison to other cafes in the area, highly recommend!
