Contribuiți la feedbackBrilliant cafe. Very extensive menu. Lovely choices. Very welcoming staff. We only had breakfast but if we had been staying longer we would have gone back for lunch or dinner as they have loads of different dishes. Something for everyone
I love this cafe. Best breakfast in Kent. Great value, and the staff are fantastic, friendly, and fun. Always leave this place. Happy and full.
Great place for breakfast, we were happy to go there all 3 days we were in Whitstable. Lovely staff and good location. Breakfast baps were really good and coffee excellent.
Super breakfast, lovely special and chicken burger. Fast and friendly service very reasonable prices. Sat outside in the sun and the lovely lady serving us even bought out a sausage for our dog. We’ve been here before and will be back! Thank you
Oh dear. Well me and my 15 year old daughter went here on Sunday and we left distraught. I first dared to ask what rolls they had and was met with a slight attitude when I asked to see them. The girl raised her eyes and brought the roll out. That I could cope with to be fair. She said it was a half hour wait which was fine and we ordered and sat outside. After half an hour she came out and I very politely said ‘excuse me do you know How much longer the food will be please’ she looked at me and said ‘no’ I obviously looked a bit startled as usually they would at least say I’ll go and find out she then went with a huge attitude ‘I did tell you it was half an hour’ I explained that it had been over that and that’s why I was asking and explained we had to be somewhere. She huffed and walked off. She came back with my breakfast and threw it on the table it the plate banged down and actually slid on the table my daughters mouth was like omg. I was a bit taken back and looked at her and she then said in such a sarcastic way ‘your welcome don’t say thanks will you’ oh my gosh I was literally just staring at the plate in disbelief she came back out gave my daughter hers and I was just like what is wrong with you why did you throw my plate at me ? She answered back saying she’s only 15 and started shouting. My daughter was just staring on the floor it was so embarrassing. I said can I see your manager she smiled and said ‘that will be my dad’ as if to say I’m untouchable. Wow I was shocked. I said don’t worry I’ll leave a review on trip advisor she then lost it and began shouting at us saying she was only 15 and I was making her upset. My daughter was mortified and I have NEVER had anyone talk to us and shout when we are the customers. Her dad came out and told her to go back inside (think although he will never admit it could see that she had gone way to far) he said what is going on I said about the plate and her behaviour and he Said ‘fine I’ll take the food back’ well we had just waited for 45 mins and my daughter needed to eat. I said no the food is here now we just need to eat. We literally had to be somewhere in 15mins and there was no time to order somewhere else. We ate our food as quick as we could and got the hell out of there. someone came out and shoved £15 on the table. No apology no nothing and I said no we are eating the food and handed it back another waitress came out and put the money down and we tried to give it back but they were ignoring us we just left the Money on the table. We actually can’t believe it happened still. My daughter was really upset as she couldn’t understand why the girl was shouting at us. I was calm throughout and never once raised my voice at her. I have no doubt dad will say I was a bully as I’ve seen him say this on other posts but sorry I will not sit there whilst someone throws a plate down in front of me and then when I sit shocked sarcastically says your welcome don’t bother saying thanks knowing full well what she was doing. I’m sure if her manager was not her dad she would not get away with this behaviour. At no time did the owner apologise for her behaviour. I know we all have off days but most of us smile and wave and vent out of the sight of public. I’m still shocked she was screaming at us whilst we just sat there and took it really as I can’t row with a 15 year old. Can’t wait to see what the reply to this will be as if you think this behaviour is acceptable to your customers I literally have no words!!
