Cuckoo's Cafe - Whitlock Farms

Good food and drinks. Haven't been inconvenienced by a crowd yet. Might be because it's a little out of the way compared to other bubble tea places. In case someone needs to know, the fries are the battered kind.

Seating is pretty comfortable, lots of space. Snacks were pretty good, spring rolls were super crispy.. tofu was crispy and hot, fresh, but could use a little more seasoning. I was disappointed that they didn't have any sauces for spring rolls or fried tofu. They only had prepacked kens mustard, bbq, ketchup. Kinda strange for the food selections available (or at least that's what I was offered).Drinks were nice. I really enjoyed the peach milk tea. It tasted like real peach which was refreshing and it wasn't too sweet. Sesame balls were crispy, sweet enough and not too greasy.Bathrooms were okay, could have better lighting and disability access. Nice experience, very busy and long lines even on a Sunday but that's really good because the last business here left so I'm glad they're doing well. .Internet was pretty fast despite there being a lot of people.There is a rule written near the seats, that you need to buy something in order to sit down, which I think is an obvious given if you enter a cafe. But I don't like seeing signs like that because it feels unwelcoming. But it would definitely feel worse if this were located in a community with a lot of unhoused people.Overall, a good experience.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian and some vegan options such as: tofu puffs, sesame balls, fries, spring rolls, donuts, onion rings, and milk teas are all dairy free unless requested otherwise. I didn't see any substantial food options like sandwiches or bento that were vegan/vegetarian. So I would like to see that change in the future.

Very nice place to grab a quick bite with friends the drinks here are amazing prices are average . I recommend the popcorn shrimp and chicken nuggets also the strawberry milk is an absolute must try. The outside seating is a huge bonus along with board games they offer .

The chicken nuggets and mini corn dogs were surprisingly quite good! The honey green tea was tasty. The winter melon milk tea was alright. The place itself desperately needs to be deep cleaned. Bathrooms dirty, spider webs untouched and over all not kept up. Would have been better if it was cleaner.

Pretty nice place to chill with tea and snacks. I ordered their Morning Dew, takoyaki, and fish tofu; all taste great. They didn't get 5 stars because they charge $1 for a tiny bit of sauce. I can understand if they charge 0.50cents/sauce or for extra sauces. Over charging for sauce that should come with your snacks is a bit much.
