I drive twice a week from Indianapolis to eat at The Chicken Inn. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent staff. Hardworking, friendly group of people. It feels good to support local small businesses.

I absolutely love the food here! Every time I have the chicken with all the sides, it feels just like a delicious home-cooked meal. The desserts are always outstanding too!

It's my autistic son's favorite place to eat! Great food, great service, very homely little place. If you're in the area or passing thru, I highly recommend it!

Ordinary-looking building contains a family-owned restaurant specializing in fried chicken, but with other offerings as well. My husband had a really impressive Very Berry salad with strawberries and huge blueberries and blackberries, and the fried biscuits and apple butter were especially good in that the biscuits were twice the size of some I have had other places and the homemade apple butter was quite tasty. This was our first time here but we would be happy to return.
