We moved back to East Texas three years ago and have eaten bar-b-que at several different places. Our search is over now. Cooksy's is definitely the best we have eaten in years. We cannot wait to go back to get more and it's 43 miles from us and definitely worth the drive.
Delicious chopped beef sandwich, big enough to split depending on how hungry you are. The peach cobbler, baked beans, slaw, and potato salad were also excellent. They’re open Thursday and Friday 11a-7p.
Best ribs in East Texas! You can actually taste the garlic in the rub! Good job!
First time there today. Incredible food and wonderful folks. Very helpful and personable! Definitely the best BBQ in Tyler!
