Barclays Cafe - Whitehorse

I visited this restaurant over the weekend with a few friends and we sat outside in the front area. I ordered the steak sandwich from the chef's special menu and was extremely satisfied with how tender and juicy it was. It was one of the best steak sandwiches I have had in a long time. The service from the friendly waiter out front was amazing as he was very attentive. The coffee was also exceptional, especially the "seasonal" blend for black coffee lovers. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Lovely! Much better service and food than chapter too down the road! The owner was a pleasure to meet and the food was delicious! Coffee was delicious and the eggs were yummy!

Had lunch with 2 girlfriends. I ate the pork spare ribs. tender with lots of meat on the ribs. the sauce was amazing. I was happy and full. we were talked into trying the new Cuban coffee by our waitress. I recommend it to everyone who likes strong flavoursome coffee without bitterness. couldn't fault the service. food is restaurant standard with cafe prices. we all agree that we will be back<br/ <br/

We had lunch at Barclays on Sunday. I had the house made beef and Burgundy pie. Full of tender beef in a rich sauce. Simply amazing. my wife had the poached Atlantic salmon off the weekly specials. It was fresh, great presentation, a great variety of textures and flavours. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was delivered quickly despite a large group arrived at the same time. I love Jasper coffee, the barista made it just right hot, smooth with great flavour without any bitterness. We will be back
