I eventually went to the server station to get assistance, and the cook went to fetch someone. The manager eventually came out, and I explained that our server had left so quickly that I didn't get a chance to order dessert. She kindly took our order, but when it arrived, it was served to us in a take-out box. The manager said she wasn’t sure if we wanted it for dining in or taking out. It would have been better if she had checked with us before bringing it to the table. I expressed my disappointment about our experience, but her response was simply, "What can I do?" It would have been more appropriate for her to apologize and ask how she could turn things around or what specifically went wrong. Her body language and tone suggested that Pizza Hut wasn’t particularly interested in our continued patronage. In the end, I just requested take-out boxes for our leftover food and the bill so we could finish up and leave.
In previous visits, the servers would ask if we wanted appetizers, but this time, the server simply took our order and then vanished. She only checked in once during our meal, and that was before I had a chance to ask her anything. I had to go to the server station to get someone’s attention, and then the manager came over after the chef went to fetch her. I explained to the manager that our server had left so quickly that I didn't get a chance to order dessert. The manager seemed dismissive and suggested we take our dessert to go, mentioning she would be sure to pack it up. I thought it would have been better if they had asked us about our dessert preferences before bringing our food to the table. When I mentioned to the manager that our experience was not very good, she simply asked, “What can I do?” I was expecting a more genuine response, like an apology or a question about how to improve our experience. It seemed clear from her body language and tone that Pizza Hut does not value our patronage. I requested crates for our leftover food and the bill so we could leave as soon as possible.
The food was served hot and fresh! Brandon was an outstanding server who took excellent care of us and the other guests. He greeted everyone with a smile during every interaction! We will definitely return the next time we're in the area!
I ordered a custom pizza online from Pizza Hut, which I really appreciate because it allows me to cater to our different tastes. I arrived at the scheduled pickup time, and the pizza was ready and hot, just out of the oven. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean and well-decorated. My only disappointment was that the pizza was quite salty, but that could just be my personal preference, so I'm still giving them 5 stars. After my visit, Pizza Hut even sent me a follow-up email with a discount coupon for taking a short survey about my experience.
Our family typically enjoys a large pizza where we can customize our toppings. I absolutely love the stuffed crust pizza from Pizza Hut, especially with mild peppers, pineapple, Italian sausage, pepperoni, ham, and mushrooms! Their pizza sauce and crust never let us down. Since we have a few kids, to keep everyone satisfied, we usually order a couple of personal cheese pan pizzas or a large cheese pizza. The staff was friendly, smiling, and very helpful—they brought part of my order out to me because I couldn’t carry it all by myself, especially with my two kids in tow. I made sure to tip the staff generously. Thank you, Pizza Hut in Whitehall!
