794 Kitchen Bar - Muskegon

The new chef prepares my favorite dishes in town, and I'm thrilled to discover that I can still enjoy them after they moved from their previous restaurant. This place will now be my go-to instead of the other spot I used to frequent. The staff here are friendly and quick to assist. It's a great little gem! You really owe it to yourself to try the Cajun options on the menu—they're fantastic. I travel through Louisiana regularly, and I can confidently say that the food here rivals the Cajun fare you find down there.

We visited this restaurant last week to celebrate my birthday, looking forward to enjoying my favorite nachos served in a beer can, while my kids had their hearts set on chicken and waffles. However, we were immediately informed that they had a new menu and a new chef, which was a big letdown since they no longer offered the dishes we were hoping for. We ended up ordering sandwiches instead. They were fine, but certainly not worth the $22 price tag for a French dip. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be returning.

Enjoyed 5 of the new menu items when they reopened this week with a new chef. All were incredibly delicious and portions were all shareable size. The Monte Cristo was AMAZING. The chicken strips were hand cut all white meat and included 5 huge strips. The Ocho Burrito could have fed 3 people. The 2 hockey puck sized crab cakes had little filler and lots of flavor.

We went before the big rush so it was a little bit quieter there. The food was absolutely amazing, everything is fresh and the portions are well worth the value. The entrees we had were amazing and we couldn't even finish. And in my opinion, the pricing is spot on, the food is some of the best food I've had in Muskegon, Michigan and our waitress was really kind of cool I highly recommend giving it a shout ?

Wow, wow! This place is so amazing. Had the fried califlower, chicken wings and the loaded sweet potato fries. Soo yummy. For dinner we got the catfish and meatloaf with a blueberry mojito. All the portions were good sized and all well priced. Even had a chance to talk with the head chef Doug. Such a nice guy. I will def be coming here again.
