Soup Shack - Wheeling

The Soup Shack has a great location in the Centre Market that is perfect for lunch with friends or just with a good book. While I haven't had all their soups, I loved everyone I tried. The sandwiches are also great. For a small place, they certainly have a lot of options for a very reasonable price and quickly became one of my favorite places in wheeling.

The Soup Shack is one of the small eateries inside the Wheeling Farmers Market. Our soups and sandwiches were good. There's a small area with tables. It's worth a return visit if we're back in Wheeling again. There are also small retail stores in the area around the market, though most were closed on the Monday we were there.

This place is a train wreck. They can't figure or how to process orders, and they ended up only making half our order. The soups we got right away because they are pre-made and sitting in crock pots. Sadly, they had little flavor. The seating area was filthy. The guy who appeared to be in charge was not good at directing his employees, but he was apologetic. This could be a great place, but they have to get their act together first.

I'm coming to town to visit family. This place is my place for lunch....never had a bowl of soup or sandwich I didn't like. Friendly service and you can say that they have a variety of love in the dishes. A large seating area is available for dining. Very recommended to try a good bowl of soup and sandwich.

Frank, the owner of the soup snack is such a great guy. He prices all his products under market value. All its ingredients are freshly bought and it makes a variety of excellent soups such as wedding soup,16 cocoa beans, chicken tortilla, and cheesy potatoes to name some of the best I have tasted. All menu items are exceptionally fresh and cooked to your taste.
