Andys Otter Creek Inn - Wheeler

Just a short distance from 53N to Hywy 12. The sign for the Inn must change as we went on the road twice before we notice the name of the road. The inn is very convenient to restaurants etc. in EauClaire, but if you can allow extra time in the Inn because it is spectacular and relaxing. The hot tub worked nicely and fitted two comfortably. The gas fireplace added to the ambience. Happy Hour was so beautiful with the free drink and the Oppertunity to meet other guests. It was nice that Alexa could play our favorite Jacky Gleason Trumpet tunes on the piano. There were a few minor problems, but nothing that hindered our joy at the inn. We hope to get back there soon.

Be careful not to book! My husband and I were so excited to stay here. One week outside and we called them to change the map to file and no answer back, we called again and again, we emailed, texted and by email over and over and over and over NO RESPONSE. We were so sketched out by the lack of answer we decided not to go, we did not want to risk staying there and have no service. The mailbox was full. Today is the day we should check in and they should write us a code for the door and guess what!? No code has ever been written to us! Thank you for not making the drive! Your networks say they always answer the phone, that is clearly a lie!

Everything was great. Out room was comfortable, clean and as pictured. Self-control was easy and convenient. The free breakfast was delicious and only the right part. It was cooked to order at the desired time and served in your desired place (in your room or your choice sitting area at the inn). There was a bit of wrong communication during our stay, but it was handled very well and resolved beyond our expectations. The only complaint would be that you can hear cars on the nearby road. Apart from that, it was a very pleasant stay. We'd stay here again.

The owners treat you like family. Truly the best and safest solo holiday resort I will ever choose. Also amazing atmosphere and breakfast: thanks Lindsey and Riah for a wonderful safe place.

I was looking for a hotel on our way South. I usually start with Trivago to get an idea about what is in the area. This Bed and Breakfast was available for not much more than a hotel. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We loved the fireplace and large bathroom. The host cooked a wonderful breakfast that was included with the room. Check out the website. Everything is just as advertised. It was dark when we arrived and I had a little trouble with the turn off the highway.
