Jake's Supper Club - Menomonie

I visited the restaurant for Mother's Day and was seated promptly. The food was excellent, and the dessert table was truly outstanding.

We had an outstanding meal and exceptional service at this traditional supper club! The picturesque location by the water made it even more enjoyable. We will certainly return!

Fantastic riverside restaurant! The food and service are consistently excellent. I visited for the fish fry and opted for the baked fish. Their prime rib is always delicious, too. Everything was great!

Awesome steak house on the water, definitely where the locals go. The ribeye was cooked to perfection, and the flavor was great.

Expecting a fine Wisconsin Supper Club experience, we instead got the opposite. We drove an hour, arrived 10 minutes prior to my reservation (6:40pm). Upon checking in with the hostess, I was instructed to come back at 7:00 to check in. To this I was thinking…What’s with that??? I am checking in now, and you say come back?? Before sitting near the check-in desk, I wandered through the dining room to find it 1/3 empty, but observed two 2-person tables at the window had place settings. Back to wait. We sat near the check-in desk and watched for the next 10 min. A number of walk-in groups, small and large. The were alerted to the wait time, were the placed on the wait list, and assigned pagers. At 7 pm, I approached the hostess to check-in for my reservation. I was only then assigned a pager, and put on the walk-in list!!!! After another 20 minutes it became clear that the reservation had no meaning. Again, I reviewed the dining room, and the same tables remained set and unoccupied. Questioning the hostess, we received no explanation. We left. Quite disappointing.
