Sushi Ukai Wheaton

We held a family gathering at this restaurant. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere that allowed us to have conversations. The food was excellent. The service was a bit slow, but overall it was a great experience.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. We had a confirmed reservation for 7:15, but arrived at 7:05. By 7:30, they had not even seated the 7:00 reservations yet. When I asked about the delay, they simply told me there were many people ahead of us. I was embarrassed, as I had planned a special Valentine's Day dinner. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

The service at this restaurant was very disappointing due to a shortage of staff during busy hours. For instance, we had to order drinks multiple times throughout our meal and did not receive them until the last five minutes of our two-hour dining experience.

We visited Sushi Ukai tonight (on Christmas Eve Eve) for our family dinner and we all loved it! The food was fantastic and service was excellent as well! We will definitely be back.

Excellent dinner for our anniversary. We had the Spicy Mexican Roll and the Spicy Tuna Roll. Both were excellent. For dinner we split the Tempura Chicken, Steak Teriyaki and Combination Fried Rice. We wanted to try a little of a few things since it was our first time and we ended up taking quite a bit home. We definitely recommend this place. It was our first time there and we were very impressed.
