Homa Kebab Cafe - Whangaparaoa

The meals are always delicious and fresh. Service is friendly and they're really nice they'll make the effort to come and bring your meal even if your waiting in your car! Regularly go and get the beef burger, it's the biggest burger I've ever eaten with fresh ingredients and made fresh too!

One of the best Local establishments hands down! Authentic Turkish not just kebabs either always fresh food, if you go in at lunch you will see the doner grills stacked up ,and fantastic flavour you must ask for sauces to really hit it! don't be shy now.. Matt will load it up if you ask..I should know I eat here 5+ times a week :D Also you cant go past the fair prices why would you get a ass bunging Wendy's combo for 12+ buka when you can get the chicken or lamb meals for $10!? which are healthy and filling and wont leave you feeling like a bloated toad.. I'm yet to have a substandard kebab..even when I rock up at 10 min to close which to be honest is pretty unfair to still expect the best at the end of service

Decided to take the family out for dinner, we were visiting the area and so thought we would give it a try. It was the most disgusting meal I have ever encountered. Apart from fighting the flies for what resembled food but tasted like muck there wasn 't much else to recommend the place. The service (if you could call it that) was perfunctory and mostly wrong. My wife ordered a Curry and was delivered a plate of rice and bowl of watery soup with some random gristly pieces of 'meat ' floating in it. My Chicken Doner was not what I ordered and tasted like 3 week old miners socks.We will never, as long as my butt points at the ground eat in this place again. It might have a A health rating but that is no indicator of food quality. If it was at all possible to give a negative score I would. At nearly $100 plus the stop at Wendys drive through to get some real food it was an expensive trial one which we won 't be repeating.
